His Majesty King Harald opened his 2017 New Year’s Address with the words:
“‘A great will runs through the world,’ writes Åse-Marie Nesse in one of her poems. This will makes all living things strive toward the light. It compels us to help whenever we see that someone is in need. It ensures that most of us rise to a new day, no matter what awaits us.”
