In the autumn of 1974, the painter Arnold Krag travels to the Isle of Wight in search of new inspiration. There he meets Cathryn – young and radiant – who becomes his model and his muse. Stian M. Landgaard was born in Tromsø in 1978 and grew up there. He has also lived for several years in Bergen and Berlin. He holds a degree in philosophy and works as a translator from German into Norwegian. Previously, he published the novel Herrer i åndenes rike (Lords in the Realm of Spirits, 2006).
